Welcome to the world of
1969, The Phantom Odyssey!
It all started one evening: I, David Vincent, falling asleep at the wheel of my car, I witnessed the landing of a flying saucer......... No!
Since my childhood, I have always been passionate about aviation and space exploration. I have expressed this fascination with drawing and building very detailed models. Then, I had the opportunity to get my private pilot's license and the pleasure of flying around the sky for over thirty years. I refined my skills by practicing aerobatics.
The mystery surrounding Soviet space flights stimulated my desire to learn more about this subject. When, at the end of the Cold War, the veil was lifted on the Soviet space program, I decided to draw an alternative story about the race to the moon.
The years spent refining the drawing and script finally allowed me to publish this album to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Man on the Moon.
None of the comic book publishers contacted to publish my album have agreed to do so, so I decided to self-publish it on Amazon. Unfortunately, it is therefore only available in paperback and electronic versions.
Once issued, the book received very good reviews on social networks and in press articles of specialized magazines. This success led me to publish the Russian and English translations.
Motivated by the readers' enthusiasm and passionate about drawing, I plan a second album.
